Significant rainfall totals were recorded across Hampton Roads today ranging from 2-4". Rainfall at Norfolk Int'l was enough to push March 2024 up to at least the 2nd wettest on record.

Winds turn northwesterly to westerly this evening and become quite blustery. This will erode the cloud deck and cool us down into the lower 40s.

Friday brings a return of sunshine, breezy conditions and seasonable temperatures. There is a slight chance of an afternoon isolated shower too.

A warm front lifts to our north Friday night and moves far enough north that any shower activity associated with it will be outside of our area. Instead we enjoy mostly sunny conditions for Easter Weekend and temperatures much more comfortable in the lower 70s!

Our general unsettled pattern will spill over into April. Rain chances return as early as Monday and linger through midweek.
