The vernal equinox occurs today at 5:58pm officially marking the start of Spring. Unfortunately, our weather will not be on the same page. A storm system developing off the southeast coastline is producing rain showers ahead of schedule. We can now expect rain to develop from the southeast lifting northwest through the morning hours. That rain becoming heavy at times this afternoon and evening.
Rain showers linger through at least the first part of your Thursday before slowly tapering off. Temperatures remaining below average today, only topping out around 50. Slightly milder and more seasonable tomorrow with highs near 60.
Skies clear out and sunshine returns for Friday with highs in the lower 60s. Plenty of sunshine this weekend and gradually moderating temperatures into the middle 60s come Sunday.
