We have plenty of sunshine in today's forecast with some unseasonably warm temperatures as well. Highs today will top out in the upper 70s and low 80s. Winds today will be mainly from the southwest and up to 15 mph.
Clouds will begin to filter into the area late today and overnight ahead of our next cold front that is expected to move through tomorrow. This front will allow a few showers and storms to develop tomorrow afternoon, but the most favorable area will be in northeastern North Carolina.
Behind that weak cold front it will get a bit cooler on Thursday with highs in the low 70s. Friday will feature a better chance for a few showers or storms, but by the weekend, most of the rain should be out of the area.
