If you haven't heard it yet, Happy Meteorological Spring! We've made it, we just need the weather to start cooperating.
Rain showers today via a cold front dropping through. Temperatures still maxed out well into the 60s but that won't be repeating tomorrow. Winds shift behind the front to out of the north this evening and turn gusty. A colder, drier air mass will be ushered in and temperatures tomorrow will be drastically colder, we're talking highs only in the middle 40s. For reference, the average high for this time of the year is 54°.
There is a minor chance for rain as we hit midweek. A storm mostly to our south may spread some residual moisture northwards. The best chances for maybe a few showers on Wednesday will be in North Carolina.
The good news though, there is plenty of dry weather in the forecast, more importantly that stretch of dry weather is prolonged. However, the cold temperatures will mimic that. We stay at or below average right through the upcoming weekend.
