There is a coastal low in North Carolina which is bringing some moderate rain to parts of the area this morning. The low is forecast to move offshore and there is a chance that it will turn tropical, however impacts to land will be minimal. Currently there is about a 30% chance of development, but rain will be the biggest impact.

Rain chances stay in the forecast for NC for the first half of today with a chance of some showers through south side Hampton Roads as well, but temperatures will only top out in the middle 80s.

Heading into the new work week, expect temperatures to climb into the low 90s and humidity to be a factor, however, rain chances stay low through the next few days.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
