NORFOLK, Va. — Post-tropical storm Ian has dissipated, but Hampton roads will still see some more effects this weekend.
Rain
Most of the heavy rain came Friday.
The upper level low pressure system that absorbed Ian will swing through later today and spread more rain south toward Hampton Roads from Northern Virginia. Steadier and heavier rain is likely again through late today into tomorrow night. This will add to our rain totals.
Tides & Flooding
'Minor' or 'nuisance' category flooding will persist through this afternoon.
By tonight and Monday, the tide should go up again as a low forms along the coast and could cause some even higher water levels than what we saw Friday and Friday night.
