Officer Baker with the Chesapeake Police Department pulled a woman over, not for breaking the law, but to inform her that her tire was so low, she was riding on her rim.

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WVEC) -- When a police officer pulled Kristi Duke over on Tuesday, she was thinking of every possible scenario of what she could have done wrong.

"Was I speeding? No. Did I forget my signal? No. Oh God, what I I do?! Was he ever beside me? No. How long was he behind me? Not long at all," Duke wrote in a Facebook post.

She pulled over to the side of the highway just after the Route 168 overpass.

She had her license and registration in hand, ready to give to the officer the moment he approached her car window.

But what happened next surprised her. Officer Baker with the Chesapeake Police Department approached her window, and told her that he pulled her over because she had a tire so low, she was riding on her rim.

She stepped out of the car and examined her tire, but not only did the officer point out her flattened tire, he inflated it for her so she could make it to a service center!

Duke highlighted in her post that Tuesday was her first day driving after a surgery she had last week. After Officer Baker finished inflating the tire, he followed Duke to a service center.
