UVA's Blanding signs a free agent deal with the Redskins

One of the bigger surprises coming from the final day of this year's 2018 NFL Draft was that no one picked University of Virginia safety, Quinn Blanding. The Virginia Beach native got the long awaited call on Sunday as he inked an undrafted free agent deal with the Washington Redskins.

Blanding, who played his high school ball for the Bayside Marlins, had 495 career tackles during his time with the Cavaliers. It's the most ever by a defensive back in Atlantic Coast Conference history. Blanding also had 10 interceptions. He was an All-American his last three seasons in Charlottesville.
