People across Hampton Roads heard a huge boom on April 30, 2019. The U.S. Navy said it was a sonic boom from an F/A-18 Super Hornet based at Naval Air Station Oceana. Weather conditions amplified the sound and the vibration. 13News Now Meteorologist Evan Stewart explains the science behind it.
