PORTSMOUTH, Va. — A Portsmouth school bus fell into a small sinkhole Friday morning, but no one was injured, school officials said.
According to a spokesperson for Portsmouth Public Schools, Bus 226 was on its route to Douglass Park Elementary School by Highland and Oak Street when the road gave way underneath it.
The spokesperson said two students were on board at the time and their parents were notified.
While no one was hurt, an EMT was called as a precaution for evaluation.
