VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WVEC) -- Police said a woman was hit by a car around 7 a.m. on Dec. 16.
The incident happened in the 3800 block of Shore Drive.
Officers said a vehicle was traveling on Shady Oaks Drive and proceeded to make a left turn onto Shore Drive. The woman was hit as she was attempting to cross Shore Drive.
She was taken to a local hospital with life threatening injuries.
The VBPD Fatal Crash Team is investigating the incident.
