NORFOLK, Va. — The eastbound lanes of Interstate 64 have reopened Monday night following a car fire, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).

In a social media post at 7 p.m., VDOT said two eastbound lanes and the exit ramp were shut down near Norview Avenue. Nearly two hours later, the department announced the scene had cleared.
