VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — The Virginia Beach Police Department said a person was killed in a vehicle crash on London Bridge Road Friday night.
The incident happened in the 1900 block of London Bridge Road at the intersection of Harpers Road. According to the police department, only one vehicle was involved.
On Saturday, police identified the victim as 30-year-old Jacin Lisner from Chesapeake.
Police said the Chevrolet Corvette that Lisner was driving had been traveling on London Bridge Road at an excessive speed and he lost control, which resulted in him crashing into several trees in the median.
The police department said the road was closed in that area while officers investigated the crash.
