13News Now Daybreak Traffic Anchor Bethany Reese

Bethany Reese comes to Hampton Roads in October of 2019 as a 13News Now Daybreak Traffic Anchor. However, she is no stranger to the state of Virginia. Her hometown is just a few hours away in Goshen, Virginia.

She is excited to be back home as a new member of the 13News Now Daybreak team.

Bethany is not a morning person, but she has worked early mornings from the start. She was on the morning show in both Nashville, Tennessee and in Bluefield, West Virginia.

While in West Virginia at WVVA, Bethany was the morning anchor of the morning newscast and covered a wide range of stories, including multiple visits by President Trump before and after his election.

As a reporter in Tennessee at WSMV, the stories were endless, but her favorite moment was covering the 2019 NFL Draft.

Bethany is an avid sports fan. Her teams include the Minnesota Vikings, Philadelphia 76ers, Nashville Predators, and anything and everything University of Kentucky related.

Bethany is a graduate of the University of Kentucky, where she studied journalism and communications while interning at WLEX 18.

Bethany enjoys binge-watching Netflix and snuggling with her puppy, Winnie. She also loves anything food-related because yum.

Bethany is currently writing a Christian book and hoping to publish it soon. She gives all the glory to God for getting her back to her home state of Virginia.

Bethany is excited to get to know the Hampton Roads community.

You can email Bethany as well as follow her on Facebook and Twitter.
