Brenna McIntosh joined the 13News Now team in March of 2021 as a digital content producer and now works as a reporter.
While originally from Ohio, Brenna has lived in Virginia for the past decade and now considers the state home.
She found her passion for storytelling while attending Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!). While in college, she worked part-time at WFXR in Roanoke, Virginia and spent some time working for the university’s student news station.
Before moving to Hampton Roads, Brenna spent a year working as a digital journalist in Lynchburg, Virginia. She’s happy to trade the mountains for beaches and call Hampton Roads home!
Since joining the 13News Now team, Brenna has put together a variety of stories for the station’s digital platforms and news broadcasts, and she is excited to join the weekend team as a broadcast reporter.
Outside of work, you can find Brenna watching a scary movie and snuggling up with her cat, Lurch.
