Sarah Hammond joined the 13News Now team in June 2021 as a reporter and multi-skilled journalist.
Sarah grew up in Macon, Georgia, and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in journalism at the University of Georgia. Go Dawgs!
She started her broadcast journalism career as a multi-skilled journalist at 13WMAZ in Macon.
During her two years there, she reported on local politics, crime, the COVID-19 pandemic, one of the largest Air Force bases in the country, and everything in between.
When she’s not reporting, Sarah loves relaxing on the beach, cooking and trying new restaurants.
She’s looking forward to getting to know the area and the people in Hampton Roads!
