NORFOLK, Va. — Virginia Zoo in Norfolk is hosting the perfect event for people looking to dine with their favorite Zoo animals.
The "Breakfast with the Animals" event is on March 16 from 8 to 10 a.m.
The exclusive access event will give people the chance to get in before opening to the general public. Attendees can enjoy a morning breakfast, along with strolling and learning about the animals.
There's a variety of breakfast items and beverages, including some treats provided by Duck Donuts, Panera Bread and more.
All-day zoo access is also included in your ticket price. Children under the age of 2 get in free. Tickets can be purchased on the Virginia Zoo website.
The Olde James River Jazz Band will be playing music, and tickets for the Virginia Zoo Express train are available at an additional cost.
Gates will open at 8 a.m. and close at 9:30 a.m. The zoo will open to the public at 10 a.m. According to the zoo, the event will take place rain or shine!
