Virginia Beach Restaurant Week is back for its 19th year

Dozens of Virginia Beach restaurants will offer breakfast, lunch, or dinner deals.

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — The week-long celebration of Virginia Beach eats and beverages is back for its 19th year!

Dozens of Virginia Beach restaurants will offer breakfast, lunch, or dinner deals. This year's Virginia Beach Restaurant Week will be from January 15 through January 21.

During Restaurant Week, diners are treated to specially designed menus and pre-fixe pricing. Having Restaurant Week during January is also an opportunity to boost revenue for restaurants during the winter months, which is traditionally a slow period.

Pre-fixed menus and pricing at participating restaurants:

  • Breakfast – 2 course, $10 and $15
  • Lunch – 2 course, $15 and $20
  • Dinner – 3 course, $25, $35, and $45

New this year is "Drink as a course," where participating restaurants may offer a specifically paired wine, beer, or carefully crafted cocktail as "a course" to accompany their restaurant week menu.

The theme of Restaurant Week is the pineapple, which organizers say is the traditional symbol of hospitality. You can expect participating restaurants to feature pineapple decorations, beverages, or menu offerings.

The Virginia Beach Restaurant Association is also partnering with the Virginia Beach Hotel Association to offer discounted hotel rates during Restaurant Week.
