KILL DEVIL HILLS, NC -- Police made an arrest Monday in a weekend homicide inKill Devil Hills, NC.
Police say JamesPresson stabbed Brandon Presgravesafter he and a friend left the Port O' Call Restaurant and Gaslight Saloon.
Investigators say the two had gotten into a fight after Presgraves defendedPresson's female cousin, who wanted to participate in a contest there.
Presson called for help.
'He called 911 himself and told us that he had been in a fight and that the location where it happened. Patrol officers wentto the scene and found his body there,'according to police.
Friends in Kill Devil Hills say they'll miss him.
'Super nice guy, always there to help his friends out. He liked to go surfing and skimming, just enjoyed life,'one of them stated.
Presson is charged with second degree murder.
Detectives wantto hear from anyone with information or who witnessed the two men arguing.
