NORFOLK, Va. — A 16-year-old boy is facing multiple charges after a "physical altercation" ended with a woman being struck by a car in Norfolk on Monday, authorities confirmed to 13News Now.
Several minors were fighting on Alexander Street near Pall Mall Street at 3:50 p.m. Monday when a 36-year-old woman was struck by a vehicle, according to Norfolk police. She suffered injuries that weren't life-threatening but was taken to the hospital for further treatment.
Following the initial investigation, detectives arrested and charged a 16-year-old boy, who has not been publicly identified, with malicious wounding, attempted malicious wounding, reckless driving and driving without a license.
No other information was immediately released.
