NORFOLK, Va. — Norfolk Police Department arrested an 18-year-old and charged him with murder after a 15-year-old was shot and killed Sunday night.
In a tweet, police said a 911 call came into Emergency Communications around 10 p.m. about an incident in the 500 block of E. Brambleton Avenue in Young Terrace.
Responding officers found a 15-year-old boy suffering from a gunshot wound. Medics pronounced him dead at the scene.
Now, an 18-year-old has been arrested and charged. Tayvon K. Black has been charged with 2nd Degree murder and use of a firearm. He is currently being held at the Norfolk City Jail without bond.
No further information about this investigation has been released at this time.
