NORFOLK, Va. — Norfolk police said they are investigating a deadly shooting near Old Dominion University.
Officials said the shooting happened around 8:45 p.m. in the 1000 block of 39th Street. One man has been pronounced dead on the scene.
The victim has been identified as 20-year-old Dominique J. Brooks.
Police are still asking for information to identify a suspect.
