Norfolk police arrest man who robbed Metro PCS

A 21-year-old was charged with robbery, abduction, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and unlawfully wearing a mask.

NORFOLK, Va. — Norfolk police arrested a man who robbed a business armed on Monday.

Detectives said the robber, 21-year-old La’Vonte K. Daniels, held a woman at gunpoint while she worked at the Metro PCS store at 9651 1st View Street.

No one was injured during the robbery.

Police arrested and charged Daniels with robbery, abduction, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and unlawfully wearing a mask.

he is currently being held at Norfolk City jail without bond.
