HAMPTON, Va. — A man was shot in Hampton Thursday night, police say.
Hampton police say they received a call reporting a walk-in gunshot victim at the Sentara Careplex around 11:10 p.m. Officers responded and contacted the victim who was suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
Investigation revealed the man was walking on West Mercury Boulevard when he was struck by gunfire. The victim couldn't provide an exact location of where the shooting happened.
Police are investigating the incident and didn't release suspect or circumstantial information.
