What is it? It's a microwave potato cooker.

What does it claim? It claims to create a steam pocket that cooks perfect potatoes in the microwave in just 4 minutes. It's got a great taste guarantee, too. Potato Express will cook potatoes perfect and delicious just like they were baked in the oven or your money back.

Who tested it? Fitness enthusiasts Anthony Hill and Chris Montt

What Are The Instructions? Wash your potatoes before using them. They should be damp before you heat them in the Potato Express. Place up to four washed potatoes into Potato Express and then close the flap.

DO NOT peel or poke holes in the potatoes.

Place Potato Express in the microwave, FLAP side down. Make sure your microwave has a turntable so the potatoes rotate during cooking. If your microwave doesn't have a turntable, carefully turn over the Potato Express bag midway through cook time to avoid scorching.

You should cook your potatoes for 4 minutes, but keep in mind though that cooking times may vary based on the quantity and size of potatoes, microwave power outage and other factors. You may need to cook for additional one-minute increments to achieve perfect results.

After cooking, carefully remove Potato Express from the microwave and remove the potatoes from it. All that's left to do now is enjoy your potatoes.

When you're ready to clean your Potato Express bag, turn it inside out. You can either hand wash it or throw it in the washing machine on the gentle cycle. Lay it flat to dry and never place it in the dryer or use bleach or fabric softeners on it.

Did it work? Our testers were very surprised. They work out a lot and eat plenty of sweet potatoes to get their carbs. Usually, they have to cook them in the oven, which can take a while. The sweet potatoes they tested were pretty large and that created some problems. Because of the size, it took longer than four minutes in the microwave to cook them. Since the instructions had warned them about additional cook time, they were prepared.

The sweet potatoes were 'perfect,' they said.

Hill and Montt also tried Potato Express with four smaller potatoes and found they cooked in about four minutes and were, again, perfect. Overall, Hill and Montt gave Potato Express a thumbs up. They said it takes a little getting use to because every microwave is different.

Cost/Availability? You can purchase Potato Express at Bed, Bath & Beyond for around $10.
