What is it? The Rapid Ramen Cooker is a BPA-free, plastic container that the square packet of ramen noodle fits in perfectly for microwave cooking.
What does it claim? It claims to microwave perfect ramen noodles in half the time!
Who tested it? Our tester was Zack Lord. He's a Syracuse University Sophomore and ramen noodle eater.
What are the instructions? The instructions are pretty easy. It's really just three simple steps. First, put your ramen noodles in the Rapid Ramen Cooker. Next, add water to the fill line. Then, microwave for four minutes. Take it out, add your seasoning and enjoy!
There are a couple of important things to note about this product. First, microwaves will vary in power. That means heating times may vary as well. It's very important that you only fill the water to the water line. If you go over the line spillage may occur on the handles. On the other extreme you must remember to put water in the cooker before you put it in the microwave. Because failure to add water may result in the product melting or becoming flammable.
Did it work? Our tester thought it was really easy to use and it did cook his Ramen noodles very quickly. He said he felt like it might have been too hot to take it out of the microwave and eat it right away. So, he suggested waiting a few minutes before digging in. He also liked that you could cook and eat in the same dish, less cleanup. Speaking of cleanup, he found that was pretty easy too. Overall, he says it's something he would seriously consider purchasing.
