HAMPTON, VA (WVEC) -- For the first time since 1918, a total solar eclipse will cross the entire country on Monday, August 21. If the weather is good, the entire continent will have a chance to see it.
In celebration of the event, Virginia Air & Space Center is having a day full of eclipse-related STEM activities. They will also live stream NASA coverage of the event in the Riverside IMAX Theater.
The first 250 guests at the event are guaranteed a seat in the IMAX theater. They will also receive a pair of NASA eclipse-viewing glasses.
The Solar Eclipse event is on Monday, August 21, 2017 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Virginia Air & Space Center. All ages are welcome!
Activities are included with general admission to the center.
