HAMPTON, Va. (WVEC) -- Hampton Fire Department rescued a pig that was stuck in a marsh.
The piggy needed rescuing from the Newmarket Creek marsh on Wednesday. Crews had to rope and secure the little fella before taking it to a local shelter.
The firefighters were assisting Hampton Animal Control Officers. This rescue is just another example of all the different emergencies civil servants deal with on a daily basis.
