PORTSMOUTH, Va. — According to VDOT, a multi-vehicle crash was causing delays on VA-164 Monday morning.
All east lanes near Towne Point Road and Twin Pines Road were reportedly closed and traffic backups extended at least a mile. Drivers were encouraged to get off Western Freeway and find a different route.
Traffic has now reopened and is flowing.
