VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — The opening date of Hampton Roads' first Wegmans Food Markets is drawing near, and the grocery store chain is looking to hire.
Wegmans is offering walk-in open interviews at its Virginia Beach hiring office, on Thursday, March 7 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. While walk-ins are welcome, Wegmans recommends submitting an application online prior to the event.
The address for the hiring event is 272 Bendix Road, Suite 130, in Virginia Beach.
The new 113,000-square-foot Wegmans will be located near the intersection of Virginia Beach and Independence Boulevards. Its grand opening is set for April 28, 2019.
