PERQUIMANS, N.C.-- It has been nearly four months since anyone has seen or heard from 39-year-old Karen Bosta. Authorities say she was last seen leaving a Walgreens in Edenton.

Her mother, Arlene Murin is desperate to solve the mystery behind her daughter's disappearance.

"I'm numb. I can't believe it's been so long," said Murin.

Bosta was last seen on May 30. A week later, her car was found locked and abandoned in Edenton. Authorities have searched bodies of water, but say they have run out of leads. Bosta and investigators hope someone will come forward with information.

"Nobody disappears by themselves. Someone has to have some information. I wish that they would come forward," said Murin.

Murin is offering a reward for any information that may lead to her daughter's whereabouts. She recently doubled it to $5,000.

Investigators believe her disappearance is suspicious. The Perquimans County Sheriff's Office is leading the investigation. They are working closely with Edenton Police.

Meanwhile, Murin is pleading with anyone in those areas to keep their eyes open.

"Please look. The hunters, the farmers, fisherman, boaters, the walkers, joggers, everybody just look and see if you see anything suspicious," said Murin.
