Two separate vehicle crashes caused partial lanes closures on Insterstate 64 westbound near James City County on Sunday.
Virginia State Police said the first accident happened around 11:59 a.m. near the Williamsburg/Camp Peary exit.
That crash involved multiple vehicles with injuries not considered life-threatening, spokeswoman Sgt. Michelle Anaya said.
Another crash occurred at 1:11 p.m. near the Colonial Parkway exit.
The accident involved a vehicle and a tractor-trailer. The injuries were not considered life-threatening.
State police did not say how many people were injured in the crashes.
The lanes have been reopened as of 4 p.m. Sunday, VDOT said.
