RICHMOND -- Federal authorities arrested a Top Ten Most Wanted fugitive in Virginia Monday, nearly two weeks after he was charged with murder in the death of a Clarksville woman whose body was found burning in a Robertson County field on Feb. 1.

Kellum Williams, 34, of Clarksville, was the fifth suspect arrested in connection with the death of Amy LeeAnn Murphy, 31, of Clarksville.

He was taken into custody without incident at about 1:30 p.m., according to Tennessee Bureau of Investigation spokesperson Susan Niland.

"A U.S. Marshals Task Force made the arrest at an apartment complex in Emporia, (Va.)," Niland wrote in an email. "He is currently being booked at the Southside Regional Jail in Emporia."

Kellum Williams was indicted by a special session of the Montgomery County Grand Jury on charges of first-degree murder and abuse of a corpse in connection with Murphy's death earlier this month.

Indictments were also returned against Kevin Forman, 26, Carol Williams, 38, and Sandra Murphy, 19, all of Clarksville, and Lee Poe, 27, of Kentucky during the special session.

Kellum Williams and Carol Williams are married, and Sandra Murphy is the niece of victim Amy Murphy by marriage, according to Niland. All of the suspects were acquaintances of the victim, according to Amy Murphy's sister.

Investigators believe that the Williams' and Forman killed Murphy in Montgomery County on or around Jan. 31, according to their indictments. The suspects then drove Amy Murphy's body to Robertson County on Feb. 1, placed it in a field off Highway 76 near the Montgomery County line and then set it on fire, the indictments said.

A passerby noticed the flames and called police, authorities said at the time.

Investigators have not released the cause or motive in Amy Murphy's death.

Kellum Williams, Carol Williams and Forman are charged with first-degree murder and abuse of a corpse. Poe is charged with accessory to first-degree murder and abuse of a corpse, and Sandra Murphy is charged with accessory to first-degree murder.

The investigation was handled by the TBI and Robertson County Sheriff's Office at the request of 19th Judicial District Attorney General John Carney, the TBI said in a previous release.

The two agencies were assisted by the Clarksville Police Department, it added.

The victim left behind three children, ages 5, 10 and 11, and her family is helping raise them out of state, her sister said in a previous interview.

A fundraiser has been set up to help provide for Amy Murphy's children at www.gofundme.com/amyleeann.
