Jenkins announces he's transferring to Seton Hall

Chaunce Jenkins, a former Menchville Monarch, said on Monday he's headed to New Jersey to play for the Pirates. He'd been with ODU the past two seasons.

The transfer portal remains busy for area college players. Former Menchville Monarch Chaunce Jenkins is the latest. He announced through his "X" account on Monday he's transferring to Seton Hall University. Jenkins originally said he was leaving Old Dominion University after two seasons.

Before ODU, Jenkins spent two seasons at Wichita State. While with the Monarchs this past season, he averaged 15.9 points and led the team in three-pointers, minutes played and assists. He'll have just one more year of eligibility with the Pirates.
