NORFOLK, Va. — During the Memorial Day Weekend, you may be looking for an activity that's fun for you and your loved ones. It's strawberry season so you and your family and friends could head to one of the local farms to go strawberry picking!
Saturday will be a great day to go picking. Showers and storms are possible, but the rain will be hard to come by. Temperatures in the morning will start off in the low 70s. By the afternoon, temperatures will climb to the upper 70s and low 80s.
We'll have partly sunny to partly cloudy skies throughout the day. Sunday's weather will look similar to Saturday's, expect that highs will be a few degrees warmer.

If you're interested in picking your own strawberries, here's a list of local farms that have strawberry-picking fields:
• Cullipher Farm Market
• Flanagan Farms
• Flip Flop Farmer
• Henley Farm
• Henley's at Pleasant Ridge
• Pungo Roots
• Salem Berry Farm
• Vaughn Farms' Produce
A few farms also have market stands that have pre-picked strawberries available. You cannot pick your own strawberries at these locations.
• Bay Breeze Farms
• Cindy's Produce
• Creekmore's Place LLC
• Cromwell's Produce
• Va Beach Farmers Market
When going strawberry picking, wear closed-toed shoes that you don't mind getting dirty. After it rains, those fields become very muddy!
