Local group Black Lives Matter 757 has started a petition to take a well-known radio show off local airwaves after a comment was made about "Sweet Pea" Whitaker.

NORFOLK, Va. — A local group is petitioning against notable radio show 'The Breakfast Club' to protest a comment that was made by Charlamagne tha God about the death of boxing champ Pernell "Sweet Pea" Whitaker.

Pernell "Sweet Pea" Whitaker died Sunday, July 14 after being hit by a car at Northampton Boulevard and Baker Road in Virginia Beach.
