PORTSMOUTH, Va. — A teenager was stabbed in Portsmouth very early Tuesday, police say.
Portsmouth police say they responded to a domestic dispute in the 200 block of Dale Drive at the Dale Homes Housing Community around 1:10 a.m. When officers arrived they found a teenage girl with a stab wound injury.
She was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Police did not say the girl's age or release any other details about the circumstances of the crime.
The Dale Drive area has a history of violence. Public records show police have responded to 548 service calls to Dale Drive between March 2023 and March 2024.
The incident is under investigation.
