VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — A man is in critical condition after a shooting in Virginia Beach on Sunday afternoon, police say.
Virginia Beach police say they received a call around 2:25 p.m. for a victim of a shooting in the 200 block of Standard Lane. Officers found a man suffering from life-threatening injuries. The victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
The Virginia Beach Police Department Violent Crimes Unit is investigating the incident. Police say the incident does not pose a threat to the public.
