Which candidates are running for Virginia House of Delegates, Senate in the 2023 elections?

Here are the candidates across Hampton Roads for the Virginia General Assembly and other local races in the 2023 elections.

NORFOLK, Va. — The countdown to Virginia's November elections is on. With less than a week until the vote, here's a look at each of the races in our region.

Two state-level elections will be on the ballot for every voter across Hampton Roads — one for the Virginia Senate and one for the Virginia House of Delegates.

November 7 is the first election under new Virginia General Assembly district boundaries based on the 2020 U.S. Census — so it's likely your legislative districts have changed since the last election. You can look up what districts you're in now online. You can also use the Department of Elections' online interactive map of voting districts and precinct boundaries.
