PORTSMOUTH, Va. — A man is dead after a shooting in Portsmouth Thursday night.
According to the Portsmouth Police Department, officers found 41-year-old James Rockett III dead from a gunshot wound in the 600 block of Dunedin Road just before 10:45 p.m. That's right off Portsmouth Boulevard.
Police haven't released any suspect details. Anyone with information is asked to call the Portsmouth Police Investigations Bureau at 757–393–8536.
