Fort Eustis medical provider tests positive for COVID-19

Officials at Joint Base Langley-Eustis say a medical provider tested positive for COVID-19.

HAMPTON, Va. — A medical provider assigned to a health center with Joint Base Langley-Eustis tested positive for COVID-19.

JBLE officials confirmed the case on Thursday. They said the medical provider who was assigned to McDonald Army Health Center at Fort Eustis recently returned from overseas.

The person who tested positive followed all precautions, self-isolated and sought medical attention in order to limit exposure to others.

Health officials have reached out to the people who may have come into contact with the individual.
