NORFOLK, Va. — A man has died after he was shot in Norfolk on Tuesday morning.
Police said the call came in around 11:05 a.m. of a shooting in the 800 block of Wide Street, near Calvert Square off of Church Street.
Police arrived to find 23-year-old Tracy E. Bellamy Jr. suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. He was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
There's no word at this time on any possible suspects or what may have led to the shooting.
