NORTHAMPTON COUNTY, Va. — Thousands of people in Northampton County are experiencing power outages on Friday, according to A&N Electric Cooperative's outage map.
The power company said the outage is affecting customers from the area of Exmore and southward. As of 1:56 p.m., the map shows that 4,414 -- or 47% -- of customers in Northampton County are affected.
Crews with the power company have been dispatched to address the issue. At 1:38 p.m., the company said customers from southern Exmore to the area just north of Eastville should be restored.
