NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — Newport News Police identified the man killed in a shooting on Wednesday.
The victim is identified as Eric Brown, 29, of the 300 block of Charles Street.
It was around 1:29 a.m. Wednesday, when dispatch received a call of a shooting in the 13200 block of Aqueduct Drive.
Officers found Brown inside a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene by medics.
Police are still investigating the shooting.
