VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Virginia Beach police said a student was seen with a handgun getting off a Kellam High school bus on Tuesday.
Officials responded to the area and identified the 14-year-old who had the gun.
That teen did not have the firearm in the school, just on the bus and at the bus stop, police said.
Now, the 14-year-old is being charged with possession of a firearm on school property and underage possession of a firearm.
