NORFOLK, Va. — The Norfolk Police Department is investigating a shooting that left one man dead overnight.
Police said the call came in around 2:40 a.m., and responders were sent to the 7500 block of Tidewater Drive. That road intersects with E. Little Creek Road.
Police found a man who had been shot in the 700 block of E. Little Creek Road. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Friday afternoon, police had identified the victim as 34-year-old Raymond A. Swift.
Police don't yet have a motive for the crime, or any suspects.
